Shahbaz Sharif's decision to contest elections from two constituencies of the National and Provincial Assembly

 Pakistan Muslim League-N President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to contest elections from two constituencies of the National and Provincial Assembly. 

According to the information provided by the Election Commission, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has submitted his nomination papers from NA 123, Kasur Constituency NA 132, PP 158 and PP 164. 

Collection and submission of nomination papers for the general elections to be held on February 8, 2024 across the country continues and the Election Commission has extended the period for submission of papers till December 24. 

PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif will contest from NA-15 of Mansehar and NA-130 of Lahore, while Maryam Nawaz will contest for the provincial assembly seat from NA-119 of Lahore and the same constituency. Maryam Nawaz will contest from two provincial constituencies, while Hamza Shehbaz will contest from NA-118. 

The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will contest elections from three constituencies of Mianwali, Lahore and Islamabad.
