The Election Commission has stopped the returning officers from issuing the final notification of results in all three seats of the National Assembly from Islamabad.Â
According to ARY News, the Election Commission has stopped the returning officers of the three seats of the National Assembly from the federal capital, Islamabad, from issuing the final notification of the results. The PML-N candidates were declared successful in the unofficial and inconclusive results of these constituencies.Â
The Election Commission stopped the RO of NA 46 Islam from issuing the final notification of the result. Form 47 was challenged by Rao Masood, an independent candidate from this constituency.Â
The Election Commission has also restrained the Returning Officer from issuing the final notification of the results of two more National Assembly constituencies NA-47 and 48 from Islamabad.Â
It should be noted that according to the unofficial and inconclusive results of the above mentioned three seats of Islamabad, PML-N candidates have won.Â
According to the unofficial and inconclusive results, PML-N's Aqeel Khan was successful from NA-46 Islamabad and PTI-backed Aamir Masood was second. Also from NA-47 Islamabad, PML-N's Tariq Fazal Chaudhry was successful and PTI-backed independent candidate Shoaib Shaheen was second, while independent candidate Raja Khurram Shehzad Nawaz won from NA-48 and from here PTI-backed independent candidate Syed Muhammad Ali Bukhari came secondand Raja Khurram Shahzad had announced to join the PML-N after the success
