ISLAMABAD Former President of Pakistan Arif Alvi has termed as 'unnecessary speculations' that he is being made the Chairman of Tehreek Ansaf.
Arif Alvi has posted an explanatory statement in this regard on social media site X. According to the explanatory statement, there are unnecessary speculations that Imran Khan wants to make me the chairman of the party. My leader is not considering any such thing and neither was this matter discussed in the meeting. These speculations are an attempt to create confusion in a party whose leadership has been wrongly and unjustly imprisoned but PTI is active despite thousands of arrests, repression and violence,” the former president added "Chairman Gauhar Khan is leading the party very well and is also present in the Parliament I end this false and non-issue with this clear denial.'Arif Alvi said in a clarification statement that 'I want to work for the people of Pakistan because of the stolen mandate as well as a false, sentimental and unreasonable scenario.
